How to Measure Your Ring Size
1. Measuring Circumference
- Use a thread or flexible measuring tape and a ruler.
- Wrap the thread or measuring tape around the base of your finger.
- Make sure it is snug, but not too tight.
- Mark where the thread meets or check the measurement on the tape.
- If you are using thread, measure its length with a ruler.
- This measurement is the circumference of your finger.
- Match this measurement with the circumference column in the chart below.
2. Measuring Diameter
- Use an existing ring that fits perfectly.
- Place the ring on a flat surface.
- Use a ruler or caliper.
- Measure the inside edge-to-edge distance across the middle of the ring.
- Measure only the inside of the ring, not the outside edge.
- This measurement is the diameter of the ring.
- Match this measurement with the diameter column in the chart below.
